About
Alice Lin is a classically trained pianist and educator based in Prague with over 15 years of performance and teaching experience across Europe. Born in Taiwan and raised in the Czech Republic, she began piano at age six and violin at nine, later earning degrees from the prestigious Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU) under renowned professor František Malý.
Alice has performed in international music festivals and competitions, including a celebrated premiere of Concerto for Piano and Strings by Adam Skoumal. She is the co-founder of Duo Altera, a piano-saxophone duo known for its expressive concerts across Europe. Her collaborative work with choirs, orchestras, and soloists has earned her multiple awards as an accompanist.
A versatile musician, Alice is passionate about classical, jazz, gospel, and contemporary music, with training from acclaimed Czech keyboardist Ondřej Pivec. She also brings years of experience leading and supporting church worship teams.
As a piano teacher, Alice is known for her patient, creative, and individualized approach. She works with students of all ages—from young beginners to advanced musicians—and believes in nurturing a love for music through attentive listening and expressive playing. Her goal is to make each lesson a joyful, confidence-building experience.

Alice Lin 音樂啟蒙來自母親，自幼學習鋼琴與小提琴，六歲開始彈鋼琴，九歲學習小提琴。十三歲時，她進入當地音樂學校主修鋼琴、副修小提琴，並在多項比賽中表現優異。 她後來考取捷克布拉格音樂學院（Prague Conservatory），並在學期間積極參與各類音樂節與比賽。隨後，她進入布拉格表演藝術學院（Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, AMU）深造，師從知名鋼琴教授 František Malý，並獲得碩士學位。 Alice 曾參與多個國際音樂營與大師班，師從歐洲著名音樂家如 Ivan Klánský、Avo Kouyoumdjian、Adam Skoumal 等。在碩士畢業音樂會上，她獲得首演 Skoumal 為鋼琴與弦樂所作《Concerto for Piano and Strings》的機會，演出大獲好評。她也曾在斯洛維尼亞參加國際音樂節「Tereza」，並於 Mariánské Lázně 與義大利音樂季中參與蕭邦鋼琴大賽及其他演出。 從 2014 年起，Alice 與好友、優秀薩克斯風演奏家 Tereza Novotná 組成「Duo Altera」二重奏組合，在歐洲多地演出。她曾擔任布拉格兩所音樂學校的鋼琴教師與伴奏，教授對象涵蓋兒童至成人，擅長與合唱團、樂團及各種樂器合作，並多次獲得鋼琴伴奏獎項，如 Porta Musicae Nový Jičín等。 除了古典音樂外，Alice 也熱愛爵士、福音（gospel）、鄉村與流行音樂，曾與捷克知名鍵盤手 Ondřej Pivec 學習。她有多年教會敬拜團服事經驗，對音樂品質與表現力有高度要求，並以耐心、創意與細膩的教學風格深受學生喜愛。她相信音樂教育應從聆聽開始，培養良好的聽力是演奏美麗音樂的基礎。即使是一首簡單的旋律，也值得用心彈奏，才能稱得上是真正的音樂。 現今，Alice 是兩位可愛幼兒的母親，音樂早已融入她的家庭與生活。她堅信每個孩子都是獨一無二的，並致力於依照孩子的性格特質，啟發他們對音樂的熱情，讓學習樂器成為一段快樂且充滿成就感的旅程。
